This painting is a work for the Music festival in Mehrspur, Zurich. Happiness is so wide and abstract, so I decided to let the viewer interpret their own perspective of it. The figure with the mirror on its face gives you a rare feeling of not knowing what is behind it. Does a smile mean happiness or is it just a mask in front of the society. My intention is that it leads to personal reflection. For me, heaven is the connection we have with nature, with dreams and idealization. And is nature happy? I thank Franziska and Sarah for giving me this beautiful opportunity.
